NEW TESTAMENT
1. Matthew 5v43-45: You have learnt that they were told "Love your neighbours, hate your enemy." But what I tell you is this: Love your enemies and pray for your persecutors; so that you may become the sons of your father who is in heaven.
2. Matthew 5v46: If you love only those who love you, what reward can you expect?
3. Matthew19v19: Respect your father and mother and love your neighbour as your self.
4. Matthew 24v11: Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many; and as lawlessness spreads, men's love for one another will grow cold.
5. Matthew 22v37: Love the lord your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind.
6. John 3v16: God loved the world so much that he gave his only son, that everyone who has faith in Him may not die but have eternal life.
7. Luke 10v25-28 A teacher of the law came up and tried to trap Jesus, "Master, What must I do to inherit eternal life?" Jesus said, "What is written in the law? What is your reading of it?" He replied, love your God with all your heart, with all your mind; and your neighbour as your self. "That is the correct answer," said Jesus, "do that and you will live."
8. John 14v23- 24 Anyone who loves me will heed what I say: then my Father will love him, and will come to him and make our dwelling with him; but he who does not love me does not heed what I say.
9. John 16v26-28: When that day comes, you will make your request in my name and I do not say that I shall pray to the Father for you, for the Father loves you him self, because you have loved me and believed that I came from God. I came from the Father and have come into this world.
10. John 13v34-35 I give you a new commandment: Love one another as I have love you, so you have to love one another. If there is love among you, then all will know that you are my disciples.
11. Romans 5v2-5: Let us exult in the hope of the divine splendour that is to be ours. More than this: let us exult in our present sufferings, because we know that suffering trains us to endure, and endurance brings hope that we have stood the test and this is proof of the ground of hope. Such a hope is no mockery, because God's love has flooded our inmost heart through the Holy Spirit He has given us.
12. Romans 5v6: For at the very time when we were still powerless, then Christ died for the wicked. Even for a just man one of us would hardly die, though perhaps for a good man one might actually brave death; but Christ died for us while we were yet sinners, and that is God 's own proof of his love towards us.
13. Romans 8v35-37: Then what can spare us from the love of Christ? Can affliction or hardships? Can persecution, hunger nakedness, peril or the sword? We are being done to death for thy sake all day long; as scriptures say, we have been treated like sheep for the slaughter-and yet in-spite of all, overwhelming victory is ours through Him who loved us.
14. Romans 13v8-10: Leave no claim outstanding against you, expect that of mutual love. He who loves his neighbour has satisfied every claim of the law. For the commandments 'thou shalt not commit adultery, thou shalt not kill thou shalt not steal and thou shalt not covet, and any other commandment there maybe are all summed up in one rule, 'Love your neighbour as your self.' Love connot wrong a neighbour; therefore the whole law is summed up in love.
15. 1Corinthians 13v1-8: I may speak in may tongues of men or of Angels, but if I have no love, I am a sounding gong or a clanging cymbal. I may have the gift of prophecy, and know every hidden truth; I may have faith strong enough to move mountains; but if I have no love, I am nothing. I may dole out all I possess or even give my body to be burnt, but if I have no love, I am none the better. Love is patient; Love is kind and envies no one. Love is never boastful, nor conceited or rude not quick to take offence. Love keeps no scores of wrongs; does not gloat over other men's sins but delights in the truth. There is nothing love cannot face; there is no limit to its faith, its hope and its endurance. Love will never come to an end.
16. 1Corinthians 16v13-14: Be alert, stand firm; be valiant and strong. Let all you do be done in love.
17. 2Corinthians 5v14: For the love of Christ leaves us no choice, when once we have reached the conclusion that one man died for all and therefore all mankind has died. His purpose in dying for all was that men, while still in life, should cease to live for themselves and should live for Him who for their sake died and was raised.
18. Galatians 2v20-21: I have been crucified with Christ; the life I now live is not my life, but the life which Christ lives in me; and my present bodily life is lived by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. I will not nullify the Grace of God. If righteousness comes by law, then Christ died for nothing.
19. Ephesians 3v14-19 With this is in mind, then I kneel in prayer to the father, from whom everything in heaven and on earth takes its name, that our of the treasures of His glory may grant you the strength and power through His Spirit in the inner being, that through faith in Christ may dwell in your hearts in love. With deep roots and firm foundations, may you be strong to grasp with all God's people, what is the breadth and length and depth of the love of Christ, and know it though it is beyond knowledge.
20. Titus 2v2-5: Let the older men know that they should be sober, highly principled and temperate, sound in faith, in love and endurance. The older women similarly should be reverent in their bearing, not scandal mongers or slaves to drink; they must set a high standard and school the young women to be loving wives and mothers, temperate, chaste and kind, busy at home, respecting the authority if their own husbands. Thus the gospel will not be brought into disrepute.
21. 1Peter 4v7-8: The end of all things is upon me, so you must lead an ordered and sober life, given to prayer. Above all, keep your love for one another at full strength because love counsels innumerable sins. Be hospitable to one another without complaining.
22. 2Corinthians 13v11: Finally, brothers, and farewell. Mind your ways, accept admonitions, and agree in your thinking, preserve peace and the God of love and peace will be with you.
23. 1John 4v8: He who does not love does not know God; for God is love.
24. John 15v9: Just as the father has loved me, so I have loved you; continue in this love of mine.
25. John 17v26: I have made known and will make known to them your name, so that your love for me as well as myself may in them.
26. John 15v10: You will remain in my love if you keep my commands, just as I keep my father's commands and remain in his love.
27. John 14v21: He who has my orders and observes them loves me, and he who loves me will be love by my father. I, too, shall love him and show myself to him.
28. Galatians 2v20: I have been crucified with Christ, I no longer live as myself, but Christ who lives in me; the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me.
29. John 15v13: No one has greater love than this: to lay down his life for his friends.
30. John 3v16: We understand the meaning of love from of love from this that He laid down His life on our behalf and we ought to lay down our lives on behalf of the brothers.
31. Revelation 1v5: And from Jesus the trustworthy witness, the first- born from the dead and the commander of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us has freed us from our sins by His own blood.

38. John 13v1: Before the Passover feast Jesus, aware that the time had come for Him to leave this world to go to his father, showed His own who were in the world that he loved them to the end.
39. Romans 8v37 But in all this we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
40. Luke 1v47: So I tell you, her sins, many as they are, are forgiven for she has greatly loved. But the person, who is forgiven little, loves little.

It takes no pleasure in injustice but sides happily with truth. It bears everything in silence, has unquenchable faith, hopes under all circumstances, endures without limit.
59. 1Thessalonians1v3: And constantly recall in the presence of God, and our Father, your active faith, your labour prompted by love, and your enduring hope that rests on our Lord Jesus Christ.
60. Hebrews 6v10: For God is not unjust so as to forget what you did and the love you showed for His name as you ministered to the Saints and are still ministering.
61. 1 Corinthians: 13v13 There remain, then, faith, hope, love; these three: but the greatest of these is love.
62. 1 Timothy 1v5: The purpose of our instruction, however, is love that rises out of a pure heart, a clear conscience and undisguised faith.
